Rot, Water Damage & Structural Repairs
I regularly carry out timber rot repairs, water-damaged fabric repairs, and structural work as part of refurbishment projects. This includes addressing issues such as sagging floors, cracked or failed lintels above doors and windows, and alterations involving load-bearing walls, including the installation of steel beams where required.

Where structural input or approval is needed, work is completed in line with engineer specifications. If a repair falls outside my scope, I have trusted specialists I can call on, ensuring the correct solution is always provided.
Leak Detection & Damp Investigation
Where leaks or damp are not immediately obvious, I use professional damp meters and infrared thermal imaging to accurately locate moisture within floors, walls, and ceilings. This allows targeted repairs while minimising disruption.
Roof Surveys & Drone Inspections
I do not carry out domestic roof repairs, except to garage and shed roofs. As a CAA-recognised commercial drone pilot, I provide professional roof surveys using high-resolution imagery for insurance reporting, post-storm assessments, or to support discussions with roofing contractors where workmanship needs to be verified.
